After having heard the interesting compilation of Floralia vol. 4 with various groups that were of my interest or were reviewed before on my webpages, I decided to dig all these volumes. Because with vol 4 it seemed we had very common interests. I decided to dig the releases of Mizmaze, make a separate webpage with links to all the pages of the groups I already mentioned before.
It seemed the range of interest was still a bit different. Varying from underground pop to neo 60's and Pink Floyd like pop towards psych folk and soft psych to avant garde pop.
The name 'Floralia' comes from the homonymous archaic pagan festival dedicated to the goddess Flora.
First volume are all Italian bands, with various neo Pink Floyd like or serious pop sound bands, and some neo psych. Good compilation to browse some Italian (urban) underground psych bands. All bands are really ok, none of them stand out. Aalso worth to mention here are 'Sunscape', psych band and 'Agnus' as "the Italian Bevis Front".
